Hook:

#1 - 4/0 TMC 511S or Mustad 34011 (longshank)

Thread:
White 3/0 flat waxed

Materials:
Tail – bucktail and pearl Krystalflash

Body – estaz chenille to suit

Head – Round foam or pre-formed popper body coloured with permanent marker or prismatic tape

Eyes – Large silver/black stick-on prismatic (optional)

Notes:
Apply eyes after colouring and cover with a light coat of Softex to secure.

Vary the fly action by cutting the front of the head at different angles
