SUPER CLOUSER
Variation of Bob Clouser's "Clouser Minnow" by Paul van Reenan

Hook:
Mustad 34007 #4 to 5/0 or Gamakatsu SL12S
Thread:
Monofilament
Materials:
Body - Estaz
Underwing – white Kinkyfibre or Steve Farrar's Flashfibre
Gill – pink Flourofibre
Lateral line – Comes Alive
Overwing - darker colour Kinkyfibre or Steve Farrar's Flashfibre
Eyes - dumbell
Instructions:
1. Using Monofilament thread, secure dumbell eyes leaving space for the inclusion of materials (about one and a half hook eye widths).
2. Apply a drop of ZAP-A-GAP or Superglue to the threads. This bonds them to the hook shank.
3. Add Estaz to hook shank behind the dumbell eyes (optional) - not too much though.
4. Attach underwing of white pretapered Kinkyfibre (pull some of the tail ends out slightly before cutting to length) in front of barbell eyes.
5. Tie in a short bunch of Fluorofibre on top of the underwing.
6. Add the lateral line of Comes Alive that has also been pretapered.
7. Add overwing and tie off. Secure threads with a drop of glue or epoxy.
8. Comb the fly out to and blend colours and trim to achieve a 3D shape.
